Rebuilding
our
community
“one drop
of love
at a time.”

Our Story

In September of 2024, Hurricane Helene devastated Eastern Tennessee with unprecedented floodwaters as the rivers overflowed their banks. The water swept through surrounding communities, leaving thousands without homes and hundreds of families without their loved ones.

But hope is not lost… because the rivers of love are rising.

Rivers of Love is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the rebuilding of our community through a single act of love and service at a time. Our aim is to rebuild families, one home at a time, one clean-up at a time, one meal at a time, and one cup of coffee at a time, through our local Rivers of Love Cafe located in Gray, Tennessee.

Our Mission is Simple.

Found in the book of Isaiah, chapter 58:7-9 “…share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter—when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood? 8 Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard. 9 Then you will call, and the Lord will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I.”
